Hi , Im Kev and I own UK Today im a self employed freelance courier and well loving it ,just signed up with CX and its going ok, done a few jobs already and appreciate that well we all need to get established etc, currentley im running a Lwb transit based in Warrington Cheshire.
Im loving the working for myself no one to answer too ,no targets etc.I spent 21 years in sales and got made redundant two weeks before christmas last year what a bummer, had a look round to see what else is out there and found this .

hello everyone. my name is nick and i’ve just joined cx. i am a sole trader at the minute and i own a swb transit van. i have spent the last 5 years as a coruier, working for a few companies mutli-dropping and a few doing long to mid distance pallet drops. i am aiming to expand my company, with the help of friends that are also couriers, as the workload in creases, adding small vans and a couple of xlwb’s, and also a storage facility. i will be offering a 24/7 service all over the uk and ireland. i hope in the future to network with some of you guys on here, both helping you with loads and providing loads for other drivers. thanks for readind this and i hope to work with you guys in the future.

Hi I am a newbie on this site and have joined CX as sole trader today, i’m based in Bury Lancashire and drive a white Vauxhall Vivaro 57 plate, un-lettered. Due to being made redundant I bumped into a fellow CX member on my travels and after a chat I developed an interest in becoming a courier. Presently I am a one man band and work on my own. I have experience of working as taxi driver.
I am hoping that some of you will be able to help and guide me to develop this as a career and perhaps share some of your experances with me.

However I’ve just landed my first job through CX and the person on otherside on line was so helpful and understanding, who put his trust in me to break into world on CX.

I hope to bump into some of you on my travels. please feel free to contact me share some of your experiances and tips with providing you are comfortable. Iam an old hand at the courier and light haulage game and last year set up on my own with a tail lift luton sprinter and now have joined the exchange most of my work is for other couriers and hauliers and have done many european trips. Base in Liphook Hampshire we are well positioned for both london and the south coast ports. I hope SC services can be of assistance to you guys and look forward to getting a few jobs of CX

Hi all

Not new to working as a courier – I’ve regularly travelled around the European continent, just new to CX. I developed a reputation for getting there on time before, and I hope to continue that here.

I’m based in Yorkshire, but I’ve previously been as far north as northern Norway and Finland, and as far south/east as Tenerife and the Ukraine. The inbetween bits are the easy ones.

Hi my name is Rob Garner 30, based in stoke on trent operating as a owner drive. Previous work i have been a INFANTRY Soldier for 13 years reaching the rank of SGT, ive served all around the world so i feel i have a level head and a high work ethic.
I have left and taken up work in the courier business to stop my family worrying, hearing how if your honest and hard working and can hit time lines you can do well in the trade.
i offer a smart reliable service, where i can say, i will never let people down, i would love any support from any members could offer me anything in the way of advice of any aspects of the courier business.
Im used to being given a timing and meeting that timing with out fail, i operate 24/7 and at short notice i have a Peugeot partner van and deliver to anywhere of the uk

Hi Everybody,
My name is Steve Hodgson, I am based in Yeovil and have been an owner driver for six months working with my brother and mainly doing European express delivery. I have also done some local and other UK jobs for a few other courier companies. I run a LWB Sprinter and decided to join CX for a bit more control over my work patterns, not being reliant on waiting for the phone to ring!
I sincerely believe in keeping my promises and never letting people down, and will always be prepared to help others in the industry if I possibly can. I am also very open to suggestions and advice.

Hi Everyone,My name is Paul Saunders from Courier Excel – Just started out in the business so be gentle with me!
I’m based in Bridport in Dorset so if you ever need anything around the Dorset area I’m your man!
I was made redundant twice in 14 months from my previous work and decided to enter the Courier market!
As you can imagine it’s a bit of a steep learning curve but I’m up for the challenge! Any help or advice would be gratefully received.
